TAMÁSTSLIKT CULTURAL INSTITUTE

There is only one Indian-owned interpretive facility on the entire Oregon Trail and the Tamástslikt Cultural Center is it. The Institute boasts three wings that include classrooms, conference rooms, museum store, an excellent cafe and most importantly, a 10,000 square foot exhibit gallery. Enjoy a fascinating trip into the history of our three Tribes. Re-live the story of the original people of this land as you wander through the circular multi-media exhibit. Sit in a winter tule mat lodge where you can hear Tribal elders tell stories and sing. Learn about a bright future as the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation move into this century.

Tamástslikt Cultural Institute is open 7 days a week. Operating hours are 9 am - 5 pm. Closed: Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day and New Year's Day. Admission cost for adults $6, Seniors and students $4, families up to 5 members $12. Group rates are available.
